FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

There are several opportunities available for families who need financial assistance paying for registration and/or team fees. It is your responsibility to ensure that payments are made from any external organizations to the club, and to cover any fees not covered by financial assistance.

Applications should be submitted before evaluations. Please bring a copy or printout of your completed applications to evaluations.

KidSport

KidSport is a children's charity which assists children of families facing financial obstacles to participate in community sport programs so that all kids can play.

Players are eligible for up to $500 of funding every calendar year (January-December) in Saskatoon, or up to $750 of funding every calendar year in Warman & area.

To apply for KidSport funding, fill out the application form for your local chapter:

Saskatoon Chapter

Warman & Martensville Chapter

Be sure to select Hollandia Zone (and not Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc.) to guarantee that your grant is forwarded to Hollandia to cover your fees.

KidSport funding application deadline is the 30th of each month.

Jumpstart

Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities is a registered charity dedicated to removing financial barriers so kids across Canada have the opportunity to get off the sidelines and into the game. Applications are accepted up to November 1st of each year but please apply prior to when your fees are due. When you apply, ensure that Hollandia Zone is listed on the application to guarantee that your grant is forwarded to Hollandia to cover your fees.

To apply for Jumpstart fill out the Online Application Form.

SYSI Athlete Fund

The Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. athlete fund was created to help fund eligible athletes who otherwise would not have the financial means to participate and have already maximized their annual funding allotment through other funding sources such as KidSport or Jumpstart Charities. More information and the application form can be found here.

To qualify for SYSI funding, you must register your player with a Zone prior to applying. Applications should be made as soon as possible after your player has been registered, as it can take up to 30 days for applications to be processed. Funding cannot be applied to programs that have already ended.

Hollandia's Ways & Means

Hollandia realizes that all families may not have the means to fully finance their children's participation in sport. An open club culture means recognizing special cases where assistance may be necessary, deciding on levels of help available, and keeping individual family details in confidence. Please note that in order to apply for Hollandia Ways & Means funding for registration fees, families should first utilize the programs listed above.

To apply for Ways & Means funding please email operations@hollandiasoccer.ca

Ways & Means funding can be requested for registration fees and/or team fees. For more information on the Ways & Means Program, please read our Ways & Means Policy
